What We Do
The OCR is a state agency charged with improving best interest representation for Colorado’s children. The office contracts with over 250 attorneys who represent
youth in dependency and neglect (child abuse), delinquency,
domestic relations, paternity, truancy and probate cases.
Effective legal representation and
advocacy is a critical element
in giving children a voice in
the Colorado Court System.
By creating practice
standards and
providing oversight
and training for
attorneys, OCR
fulfills its legislative
mandates.
