Applications and Contract Procedures
The OCR will begin accepting applications for Fiscal Year 2010 in February, 2009.
Application for the provision of legal services as Guardian ad Litem and Child's Legal Representative.
The OCR is mandated under C.R.S. §§13-91-101-107 to contract with attorneys throughout the State of Colorado for the provision of legal services to children as Guardian ad Litem, Child Family Investigator and Child's Legal Representative. The pool of attorneys from which judges select Guardians ad Litem, state paid Child Family Investigators and state paid Child's Legal Representatives is selected by the OCR. A separate application must be submitted for each Judicial District in which the attorney is seeking appointment. The contracts and corresponding appointment list must be established by July 1, 2008. Therefore, applications must be post marked no later than Saturday, March 15, 2008. Applications should be sent directly to the OCR.
Faxed applications will not be considered. If you require confirmation OCR has received your application, send via Certified mail. OCR will not confirm via telephone.
